Terms of sale

These terms cover orders placed with Terra Venture Agricultural Store through this website.

Orders and confirmation

Sending an order through this site is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order with you. We may decline an order, in whole or in part, if the stock is no longer available.

Prices

Prices shown are the prices you pay. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged.

Prices can change without notice, but the price we confirm to you is the price you pay for that order.

Payment

Payment is due once we have confirmed the order, by the method we agree with you. We do not take payment at the point of ordering.

Cancellation and returns

Live animals and perishable food are exempt from the usual distance-selling cooling-off period once dispatched, because they cannot be resold. If something arrives not as described, damaged, or in poor condition, tell us within 24 hours and we will put it right.

Food safety and livestock

We keep batch records for everything we sell and follow the withdrawal periods that apply to treated stock. If you have a concern about anything you have bought from us, contact us with the batch details on your invoice and we can trace it.
